Expats In Limbo in Spain - Brexit - Healthcare

The next 18 months are full of uncertainity for many British expats in Spain and other EU countries with the pending agreements for Brexit. Rising electricity costs, currency conversation rates of the pound against the euro and bilateral healthcare agreements as disclosed by Express newspaper.

Brexit is causing a lot of stress to British expats as reported in The Local it is a matter of life and death for British Expats.

The Spanish government has declared its priority to their own financial economy and cannot afford to support expats, they will focus on their own citizens needs. As an expat who has contributed into the Spanish system for many years now, I also have a safety net in place and have private healthcare for my own peace of mind.

None of us get out alive ....

Life lessons from Christopher Walken: "None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else." Remember: Get your health and funeral insurance sorted out as well ;-)
